The ACE Group Classic field is one of the best in the history of the Tournament. The field is comprised of 10 Ryder Cup captains (Azinger, Crenshaw, James, Kite, Langer, Strange, Sutton, Trevino, Wadkins, Woosnam) and three President Cup captains (Couples, Irwin, Player). There are also 11 World Golf Hall of Fame Members.

The field is also comprised of 20 major winners which account for 43 major championships on the PGA TOUR. The field accounts for a combined 865 victories on both TOURS.
